Rick Romano Origional Artwork for charity auction

I would like to send a huge thank you to Rick Romano for donating an origional painting for charity auction! Rick's work is featured frequently in the Stand Up Journal, and I'm sure it will help us raise some extra money for The American Cancer Society!! Thanks Again Rick!

Onslow Bay Challenge

The Onslow Bay Challenge is a charity paddle event to support The American Cancer Society and childrens cancer research. The 12.5 mile course will be a race for those that choose, and a fund raising paddle for others. The race will begin at Wrightsville Beach access #2,(Shell Island) and conclude at the access south of the Jolly Roger Fishing Pier in Topsail Beach. Paddlers of most skill levels are encouraged to participate. There will be safety boats present to put any concerns at ease. Paddlers will be divided into 12'6" and 14' classes with prizes for the winners. Entry is $50 and there will be a bnaquet afterwards. All proceeds go DIRECTLY to The American Cancer Society. For any questions call SideArm Surf & Skate (910)686-2969, and ask for Jason.
